Basketball Skills

We've been working with coach Chanel from the Breakers to learn some basketball skills. Here's some things we've learnt so far:

You hold the ball with two hands, one on each side - Olivia

Bounce the ball with your finger tips, not your palm - Chloe

To shoot you need to make an L then an R with your arm - Nikhil

You dribble the ball up to your waist - Troy

Put two hands on the ball and then put the hand you write with on the top to shoot - Dylan

You need to keep your head up when you're dribbling so you can see where you're going - Zoe

Teach Me Tuesday Begins!!

Yay, it's that awesome time of year again when Teach me Tuesday starts. Dylan set the scene with his awesome powerpoint, videos and demonstration of how to play Beyblades. Then we got crafty with Abby and made cute 3D ladybugs. I wonder what we'll be taught next week?

El Presidentes Week 1 and 2

Every week two new students become our 'El Presidentes' These two students are the leaders for the week and they get to sit on the bench, choose a daily chair buddy, lead our line and other little perks! Here's our first El Presidents for 2016. Week 1 -
